Masters in Biotechnology, University of Texas, San Antonio, Texas. Where I worked on vaccine development against valley fever.
After masters, worked at MD Anderson cancer center for 3 years, where I worked on identifying and validating novel therapeutic targets for treatment of Triple negative breast cancer, and identifying the mechanism of resistance development against targeted therapies is HER2 positive breast cancer.
Currently a graduate student at UMASS medical school in Dr. Karlsson’s lab and working on identification of novel pathogens carried by ticks, and developing tools for diagnosis of these pathogens.
